The New Canaan Nature Center is the PERFECT place to provide your school or group with unique nature-based learning opportunities!

Our programs include:

School Programs

Our school programs are especially designed to help connect children of all ages with the natural world! Our innovative use of wildlife and science education can bring everyone closer to nature, through the creation of life-long, positive memories. Not only are all programs correlated to state standards, but curricula can also be catered to fit YOUR needs!

Off-Site After School Programs

There is no better way to have students learn about science and the natural world than through one of our Off-Site After School Program series. Over the course of several weeks (typically 3-10 weeks), small groups of up to 12 students can dive deep into a variety of nature-based topics right at your facility, in the hours immediately following school dismissal.

Scout Programs

With 40 acres of nature habitats along with an animal ambassador collection of Birds of Prey, Reptiles, Amphibians, and Mammals, the New Canaan Nature Center if the perfect site to host you upcoming Scouts programs. Our custom Scouts programs can help achieve the requirements for specific Merit Badges OR we are happy to work with you to customize a program to accentuate your advancement goals.
