Vacation Nature Program
Get outside during school holidays with friends new and old! Vacation
Nature Program camps allow students in preschool through fifth grade
a chance to enjoy a day off from school at the New Canaan Nature Center.
These fun-filled programs are designed to enhance what students learn
in the classroom with hands-on opportunities in the great outdoors.
Students will explore the many habitats of the NCNC, meet live animals,
create natural works of art, play games and much more! Camp is held
from 9:00 am to 2 p.m. Campers are reminded to bring their own, peanut-free
lunch. A mid-morning snack will be provided.
Programs are available for:
Discoverers (ages 3-5), Explorers (Grades 1 and 2), and Trackers (Grades
3-5).

Naturally Crafty Camp
Friday, March 21 - Good Friday
9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Using the great outdoors as their canvas, campers will create take-home
crafts and natural works of art! Each craft will feature one of the
Nature Center's many unique habitats, with hands-on field walks, animal
presentations, and active games included in the fun.
Ages: Discoverers (ages 3-5), Explorers (Grades 1 and 2), and Trackers
(Grades 3-5)
Cost: Members: $55.00 / Non-members: $65.00

Vacation Nature Program:
Junior Naturalists Camp
April 10 & 11 or April 14 - 18 - Spring Break
9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Join the nature center team as we go behind the scenes and work "in
the field" to become young naturalists in training! In this exciting
camp, students will hike and explore, work on crafts, create nature
experiments, study along scientists, and play fun learning games.
Each age-appropriate session will include a behind-the-scenes sneak
peak at animals, habitats, and simple conservation activities.
Ages: Discoverers (ages 3-5), Explorers (Grades 1 and 2), and Trackers
(Grades 3-5)
Cost:
April 10 & 11: Members: $110.00 / Non-members: $130.00
April 14 - 18: Members: $250.00 / Non-members: $275.00
